Getting Started With The Chrome Extension

Doppio uses a Google Chrome extension to show live content (such as polls) within your presentation, and to track where the presenter is, in order to show the correct experience to participants.

What is a Chrome Extension?

A Chrome Extension is a small ‘application’ that runs inside your Google Chrome browser. It can see certain information about your Google Slides presentation, such as which slide you are presenting, and how you have configured your polls. It does not read the actual content of your slides, or notes (Apart from the notes that relate directly to your live polls).

Can I use Doppio without the Chrome Extension?

Unfortunately Doppio is unable to function correctly without the Chrome Extension installed and running in your browser.
